Free Women’s Boxing Class We extend a warm invitation to you to join us for a complimentary boxing class, exclusively available to Shepherds Door clients!
This class serves as an introduction to the exhilarating world of fitness through boxing. It is specifically tailored to provide a low-impact, beginner-friendly experience.
Our aim is to empower you both physically and mentally, and boxing serves as an excellent means to achieve this.
Boxing is not only a fantastic workout but also a healthy outlet for stress and a constructive way to channel aggression, all while enhancing your physical endurance. For those interested in continuing their training, we will offer further sessions to ensure your progress.

September is already here, and we are preparing for the Spooky Season! This year for the first time Shepherd’s Door is participating for the Spooky Season by having a Halloween Costume Event for our client’s family. The Halloween Costumes Event is giving Halloween Costumes for our clients’ children. Yes, that right! FREE Halloween Costumes. This is a free event you are not required to pay a portion for a Halloween costumes. In Order to Participate for the Event, you need to call Shepherd’s Door at (626)765-9967 and have the following information ready. Your name, telephone number, your name child’s name, your child’s ideal Halloween costume and clothing size. For time management the deadline to participate will be Friday September 29th. This deadline is to ensure on our side that we have enough time to order the costumes, receive the costumes and make sure our clients have enough time to get the costumes for Halloween. We would also like to share our Victim Domestic Violence Support Group that is held every Thursday’s 11:00 am -12:00 pm. This support group are held virtually and for Women’s ONLY.
Also, attached are SD 52-weeks Batterers classes for men and women in partnership with the Los Angeles County Probation Department. The sessions are mandated by the court or department of children family service.

Every month Shepherd’s Door have Taxi Vouchers, a person can get two a month, Reginal Pass which includes 4 rides a month and they expires 10/29/23 and Tap Cards you can get 20 rides a month. We welcome you to this service we provide. If you have family or friends that can benefit from the service call the office Tuesday-Friday 9:00 am-4:00 pm at (626) 765-9967
Oh! Pasadena Section 8 is now open for applications. You can go to the any library in Pasadena or Flintridge Center at 236 W, Mountain St, Pasadena CA 91104 to fill out the application. If you go to Flintridge t ell them you were referred by Shepherd’s Door.

Good day everyone, It’s time Shepherd’s Door reach out to say hello and Happy New Year! It’s still the beginning of 2023! I hope you and your families doing well. We have been extremely busy, but it is a good busy. We have been helping victims and survivors regain control of their lives in many ways. We are so proud of many of you Often we hear from so many of our constituents they keep us informed of their successes. Shepherd’s Door is humbled to be instrumental in changing lives. It is what we thrive on and are committed to doing. I am so happy that many of the ladies are doing well. Several of the ladies in community college and others in medical school as Lab Techs, X-Ray Techs, and Medical Assistants. Several ladies are working a job doing great caring for themselves and their children. We are extremely proud and value everyone who comes to Shepherd’s Door for assistance.
Shepherd’s Door would like to invite you to attend our Healing Art Workshops. If not all then whenever you are available. We would love to see you! Art is healing, empowering, and fun. If art is your talent or you aspire to be an artist Aldonia is the Best! Join Us!
